- Members elected by the community: Known as "council members," they serve a four-year term, renewable for two additional terms, for a total of twelve (12) consecutive years. They hold voting rights and the power of veto.
- Members appointed by the Board of Directors: Known as "council advisors," they serve a three-year term, renewable for two additional terms, for a total of nine (9) consecutive years. They do not have voting rights—except in the absence of regular voting members—and cannot exercise a veto.
- Founder: The position of the group's founder is permanent and has the same rights as a member of the Council. It only ends in the event of suspension, resignation, or death.
