The Board of Directors of Wikimedia Small Projects User Group supervises the group and its work, and also to being in charge of its administration. It is one of the three main organs of the group.
It has seven seats; four seats chosen by the Assembly and one reserved for the group's founder who will be full voters, and two selected by the Board of Directors who will be alternate voters.
Each member of the Board has one vote, and decisions are made by the affirmative vote of the voting members present at the bimonthly meeting. Decisions can also be made through written resolutions without a prior meeting, which will only be approved if all members of the Council sign them.
History
The Administrative Council's tasks in beginning was part of the Basic Committee that would be in charge of the administration of the group until the approval of a Basic Text.
Once the initial structure of the group is established, the Committee would be dissolved and its functions are transferred to the General Coordinator until it is recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation.
Tras dicho reconocimiento en 2021, el Coordinador General delegó las funciones administrativas a la Comisión Administrativa, que en un principio estuvo compuesta por tres miembros y luego se amplió a cinco. Structure
According with the twenty-fourth section of title 8th, the Administrative Commission will have five members, the founders members will be permanent members, while those chosen by the Council wille be temporary members.
The temporary members can renew their mandate during the ordinary session of the Administrative Commission.
