The Administrative Commission of Wikimedia Small Projects User Group supervises the group and its work, and also to being in charge of its administration. It is one of the three main components of the group.
It is conformed for three members, two permanent and one temporary. The leadership position is in hands of the General Coordinator.
Each Commission member has a vote and decisions are made by an absolute majority vote through annual meetings in ordinary session.
The Administrative Commission's tasks in beginning was part of the Basic Committee that would be in charge of the administration of the group until the approval of a Basic Text. Once the initial structure of the group is established, the Committee would be dissolved and its functions are transferred to the General Coordinator until it is recognized by the Wikimedia Foundation.
According with the twenty-fourth section of title 8th, the Administrative Commission will have five members, the founders members will be permanent members, while those chosen by the Council wille be temporary members.
The temporary members can renew their mandate during the ordinary session of the Administrative Commission.
